More than 50 foodservice sites in the UK will add TiNDLE’s plant-based chicken to their menus, marking the brand’s second European launch.
Six months after its European debut in Amsterdam, Next Gen Foods is expanding across the UK and partnering with 11 of London’s most recognised eateries and restaurant groups, including Aqua Shard, BrewDog, City Space, Get Plucked, Neyba, Paternoster Chop House and Unity Diner.
TiNDLE is already available in the US, Singapore, Hong Kong, Amsterdam and Dubai, with a presence on nearly 500 restaurant menus around the world. The brand is also launching in Germany later this year, with other European markets on the cards.
“Since the very start, we have known that bringing TiNDLE to London would be a critical milestone for the company,” said Andre Menezes, co-founder of Next Gen Foods. “We are thrilled to be working alongside some fantastic restaurant partners and chefs in the UK, who are helping us achieve our goal of bringing delicious – but also sustainable – options to diners.”
To celebrate its debut, TiNDLE will be hosting a three day pop-up shop in Soho, in partnership with food brand, Sides, from 27-29 April. Londoners will have the chance to sample complimentary TiNDLE sliders topped with a plant-based garlic mayo, crisp lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, and paired with one of the seven Sides sauces.
TiNDLE’s London debut follows the start-up’s recent $100 million Series A funding round, supported by global investors such as UK-based MPL Ventures, as well as Alpha JWC, EDBI, GGV Capital and Temasek’s Asia Sustainable Foods Platform.
