Swedish plant-based beverage company Oatly has released three new oat drink lines in Australia – dairy-free Full, Light, and Low Sugar.
Oatly Australia & New Zealand Country Manager Marc O’Sullivan said, “We want to make it easy for people to swap in plant-based for dairy in their diets, and that means designing products that require zero compromise on taste, performance, or nutrition.
“We’re excited to now offer consumers in Australia a full range of oat drink varieties and formats that work just as great in your morning coffee as they do in your favorite food recipes.”
The company describes Oatly Full as containing a rich creamy texture, making it ideal for sauces, baking, and dishes such as macaroni cheese.
Meanwhile, Oatly Light boasts a new recipe to work better in coffee or as a versatile baking ingredient.
Oatly says its Low Sugar beverage is best used in tea and breakfast cereals, or for those looking for a less sweet-tasting addition to their recipes and meals. The new Oatly products come in 1 litre containers and are currently retailing at Woolworths stores nationally.
The company recently launched its first products in the New Zealand market to meet the growing demand for plant-based dairy alternatives in the market.
