Japanese foodservice brand, Motto Motto, has announced the launch of its new plant-based menu items, as well as an ongoing Meat Free Mondays campaign.

With nine sites across NSW and Queensland, Motto Motto is a premium fast-casual concept featuring a mix of traditional and modern Japanese and Japanese-inspired dishes.

The brand is extending its offering with the addition of new plant-based menu items, available from 1 November – World Vegan Day.

“We’re thrilled to be able to cater to those on a vegan, vegetarian or flexitarian diet, and what better time to launch our new plant-based menu than on World Vegan Day,” said Motto Motto COO, Matt Fickling.

The new menu items include:

  1. TOFU TERIYAKI DONBURI – $14.9
    Deep fried soft tofu, miso tofu cream, shallots, seaweed, red pickles, teriyaki sauce, rice.
  2. MISO RAMEN – $16.9
    Miso plant-based broth, fresh noodles, tofu, seaweed, bean sprouts, tofu, black fungi, bamboo shoots, corn, fresh shallots and vegan butter served with complimentary spicy takana.
  3. EGGPLANT DONBURI – $19.9
    Grilled eggplant, miso tofu cream, sesame seeds, shallots, seaweed, red pickles, rice.

On 1 November, the plant-based Miso Ramen will be available at all Motto Motto locations for $1, for the first 200 customers.

The brand has also announced the launch of its Meat Free Mondays campaign, where ‘MyMotto’ members will be able to enjoy two for one Miso Ramen, every Monday.
