With over 450 exhibitors showcasing the latest food, drink and hospitality equipment, Foodservice Australia will take place at Sydney’s International Convention Centre from 23-25 October.
As always, the show floor of this trade-only event will be brimming with the latest and greatest new product innovations from leading food and beverage producers, including a dedicated area for plant-based food manufacturers, Plant Base.
The show will also include the National Restaurant Conference, where industry leaders will share insights and advice on how to grow foodservice businesses. Ideal for restaurateurs, cafe operators, caterers, chefs and suppliers, this is a full day event taking place on Monday 24 October.
The Chef of the Year competition will see leading chefs given one hour to create dishes from a mystery box of ingredients, testing their creativity and culinary knowledge. Thirty-two chefs will compete for a share of $10,000 in cash, plus prizes.
Taking place on Tuesday 25 October is the Aged Care Summit, giving commercial caterers, consultants, suppliers, nutritionists, facility managers and foodservice operators advice on consumer trends, menu design, kitchen technology and more.
Foodservice Australia will also include free Cafe School Workshops, the ACF Restaurant Challenge, where nine teams from around Australia will prepare gourmet meals for their own 24-seat restaurant on the show floor, and The Sweet Spot, a demonstration stage where leaders in dessert and patisserie will share their skills and expertise.
Entry is free but strictly trade only. Attendees must be over 16 and work in a food or hospitality business.
