Running at the ICC Sydney from 5-6 June, Naturally Good is an annual trade event aiming to connect producers of natural, organic and healthy products, including food and drink, with retail buyers, distributors and wholesalers.

The event includes an expansive exhibition, where some of the newest food and drink, beauty, personal care and health products will be on display.

Alt protein businesses taking part in this year’s Naturally Good expo include Compassion Creamery (check out our podcast episode with founder, Sarah Qian, here), Hemp Foods Australia (podcast with GM, Felipe Favaro, here), Off-Piste Provisions (podcast with founder, Jade Gray, here) and Powered by Plants.

The event also includes an awards component, with the Naturally Good Awards Gala Evening hosted on 5 June, and recognising brands who are pioneering and shaping the health and organics sectors. Categories include Best Food Product, Best Beverage Product, Best Functional Food or Beverage Product, Best ‘Free From’ Product and Best Australian Manufactured Product.

Also hosted on 5 June, the Naturally Good Summit will see thought-leaders sharing their insights, knowledge and tips for fellow brands, retailers and businesses in the sector. The Summit will comprise a series of presentations and panel discussions, with topics including Navigating Sustainability, A Day in the Life of a Future Consumer, and What’s Now and Next for Nutrition, Health and Wellness?

The Naturally Good Pitch Fest is also returning to the event’s program in 2023, giving early-stage entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their ventures and innovations to a panel of judges and fellow founders.

Directly after the pitch, judges from the retail, distribution and investment community provide feedback on market opportunity, packaging, viability and the pitch that was delivered. The winner will receive a prize valued at more than $10,000.
